These Childhood Toys Are Worth A Small Fortune

The $20,000 Superman Toy

He leaps over tall mountains in a single bound, runs faster than a speeding bullet, is more powerful than a locomotive, and fights for truth, justice and the American way. Super debuted in Action Comics in 1938, and the original figurines of the Man of Steel came along a few years after. So did the Second World War, which may explain why the original S-man toy is so rare.

This doll is the first to ever be made for the franchise and sold for just 94 cents when it was released. With a selling price of more than $20,000, it is now worth almost 22,000 times more than the original MSRP.
